Units are equipped with self-diagnostics that can alert maintenance to component failures or operating problems and store trouble codes. Storing the codes allows service to see the trouble codes at a future time after the condition may have been corrected. Top-mounted, interchangeable air filters are easy to access for cleaning without removing the front cover. And, a remote thermostat quick-connect wiring module pulls out and plugs in for easier wiring during initial installation and easier unit change out. No need to reconnect and tighten down thermostat wires. Two separate indoor and outdoor motors are permanently lubricated to reduce sound levels. And, the indoor motor can run at slower speeds than the outdoor motor, further reducing sound levels. Large, tangential blower wheel features a large surface area. High-density insulation blocks outdoor noise.
